Welcome, Then Came June!

Gar and I have long admired Meghan's quilt designs and have marveled at the fact that every quilt made from a Then Came June pattern has always been stunning. How is that even possible? But it's true - don't you agree?

A Note from Laura

If you're part of the Modern Quilt Guild, you know that it's QuiltCon Submission o'clock and you yourself might be working like crazy to get your quilt done in time. You can do it!

I am in the final stage of finishing up my quilt and luckily the weather will be partly cloudy for the next few days. My photography skills are not stellar and my quilt is very subtle. But fingers crossed that I can get some good enough pictures of it.

I often kick myself for not having finished the quilt months ago - but I have come to realize I need a deadline to accomplish things sometimes. The adrenaline and sense of purpose is welcome and I guess necessary for completion.

As we enjoy fall and know that winter is coming (in North America), I wish you all a very Happy Quilting season to come. My goal this winter - start on next year's (2026) QuiltCon submission...

We are excited to share with you that has joined PreQuilt!

Meghan's newest quilt - - is now available on PreQuilt with three digital coloring pages so you can color the version you like best.

and then head over to Then Came June to to get started!
